Pharmaprix is national in scope yet locally based. The Tree of Life campaign gives us the ability to serve the needs of our local communities and neighborhoods.

Introduced in 2002, the annual Tree of Life campaign gives our customers and employees the opportunity to make a difference in the communities in which they live and work. Since its inception, our customers and employees have donated more than $11 million dollars to communities across Canada through the Tree of Life campaign. Last year, more than 324 community charities benefited from the generosity of our customers and employees.

The 2009 Tree of Life campaign runs in your community between September 26 and October 16. Funds go directly to a local women’s health charity. This women’s health charity has been chosen as a “high needs” group by your neighborhood Pharmaprix Associate-owner.

The campaign encourages customers to purchase and personalize their own paper “leaf” for $1, “maple leaf” for $5 or an “apple” for $50. Each “leaf” is then displayed on a “tree” branch on the “Tree of Life” in the store. 100% of all proceeds from fruit and foliage will go directly to the women’s health charity organization that was chosen by the Associate-owner of that particular store.
