1. How is Pharmaprix involved in Canadian communities?

Pharmaprix gives back to Canadian communities through the Pharmaprix Life Foundation and through various activities and campaigns organized and/or supported by our corporate office, our stores, our Associates and our employees.  Please visit our Pharmaprix in the Community or the Where We Focus pages for more information on our community involvement.

2. Why does Pharmaprix focus its community involvement in health-related programs?

As a company focused on meeting the health needs of Canadians, we believe we can have the most impact where we have the most experience and expertise.  By focusing on health-related causes, we are better able to make a difference.

3. My request is outside of your focus on health. May I still apply for funding?

Yes. While we typically focus our giving on health-related causes, we will consider other opportunities. However, we receive far more requests than we are able to support, even in our chosen focus area of health.  As a result, applications that are not health-related do not receive the same priority as ones that do.

4. My request falls under one of the categories you do not support.  May I still apply for funding?

Yes.  However, please understand that requests that fall under categories we do not support, as outlined in our exclusionary criteria, will typically be declined.

5. Do I have to apply through your online application form?

Yes.  Our online application is the only way we accept requests for donations and sponsorships.  Requests submitted through other channels such as email, letter mail or courier will be declined.

6. My request was consistent with your focus areas and did not fall under any of your exclusionary criteria.  Why was it declined?

Pharmaprix receives far more requests than we are able to support.  For this reason, we must decline more requests than we fund – even if those requests are aligned with our focus.

7. My request was declined.  May I submit another request?

Yes. However, please be informed that Pharmaprix will only accept a maximum of three requests from the same organization within a three month period. Should your organization exceed this limit, subsequent requests will be automatically declined.
